Tajweed Essentials Course
Memorizing the Quran is a noble pursuit that brings great blessings. However, many students make the mistake of prioritizing memorization without focusing on understanding the Tajweed rules.
Students who neglect these fundamental aspects might unknowingly make mistakes in their recitation thus memorize the Quran incorrectly. However, by initially investing time in mastering the pronunciation of letters and understanding the Tajweed rules, students can establish a strong foundation that will significantly enhance their memorization.
My Journey with the Online Tajweed Course
In the face of school closures and lockdowns in the pandemic, I had to adapt to the new normal. As a Quran teacher, I always taught in person, but with the changing circumstances, I decided to start an online Tajweed Course.
From the beginning and as time passed, I was determined to make the most of this unique opportunity. I constantly made improvements in my teaching material, class management styles, and overall structure after each class. I incorporated various teaching techniques to ensure that my students remained engaged and motivated.
Why choose this course?
Structured Lessons
Interactive Multimedia
Class Handbook and Certificate
Upon graduation, students will receive a class summary booklet and certificate of completion
My ultimate goal as a teacher is to ensure that my students not only grasp the Tajweed rules but also have the ability to apply them independently. I approach each lesson as an opportunity to instill not only knowledge but also a genuine love for the Quran. I vividly remember how my own teachers nurtured that passion within me, and I am determined to pay it forward.
Testimonials
“Hamdulillah under the guidance of Ustath Abdullah, my daughter developed a profound understanding of the Quranic rules of recitation. His passion for teaching and dedication to each student's progress are truly commendable, creating a warm and welcoming learning environment. Hamdulillah my daughter's recitation has improved remarkably, and her love for the Quran has grown immensely. We valued that the character of the prophet PBUH was highlighted throughout the quran teaching . That was the most valuable lesson we learned. Jazakum Allah Khairan.”

“My son Yunus (13) took the Tajweed class with Ustadh Abdullah Aydid last semester. I was immediately very pleased to notice the remarkable quality of this program. As a mother of three, the oldest being 21, I have had numerous Quran teachers and programs for them, but this was the first professionally developed, maintained and delivered Quran program I have seen. As well as an educator myself, I could see the amount of work and effort being put behind the scenes to deliver a program of such a quality and attention to details. Usdath Aydid successfully used technology to enhance his program; through Zoom app, he used features such as calendar, reminders, e-invitations to connect with both students and parents. He proficiently used the platform to conduct classes, using screen sharing, whole group lessons, small groups instruction and one on one instruction. Also, if needed, he scheduled extra private lessons with each student to catch up or to prepare for a test. The whole program was vey organized, with units, reviews, unit tests, midterm and final exam, and concluded with a beautiful graduation ceremony at the masjid, with certificates given to students. Ustadh Aydid encouraged Yunus to develop love and dedication for Quran, with his encouraging attitude and patience. We are very grateful for his service and will be taking more classes in the future inshallah.”
